The first two are pretty simple, just a strip of fabric sewn onto a 6 ply cotton diaper.

Then, I "got froggy", as my mom used to say (she was full of colloquialisms!) and decided to try something more challenging, so I embroidered this one with my Pfaff 2134, using software through the 3D Embroidery system. Just keyed in the font, digitized the design and poof! We have a monogrammed burp cloth. Once I monogrammed it, I added a bit of colorful zoo fabric at the bottom.
Whether you love horses or not, this next one is just as cute as can be... these darling little guys were already digitized and I found the designs online for about $2 each, I think.
It is always a challenge to find something "boyish" but I've discovered the world of puppies, ponies, trains, cowboys and more that I think will be just right for the little fellow. My biggest challenge is finding designs that reflects our Christian faith for my little grandson's clothes and accessories. I consider that a good opportunity to expand the "standard" horizons and perhaps create some of my own. I hope to be able to accomplish that!Stay tuned! I'm cranking up my sewing machine and there is much more to come!

You've been a busy bee, but I am not surprised at all. I enjoyed seeing Asher's little layette come to life!
Thank you! Lots more on the machine "plan" table!
